In honor of Valentine's Day, Claire learned for first bible verse. She made this cute little "craft" at school on Tuesday. She was very proud to show it to me when I got home from work. I asked her what it said and she said "God is love."
Good verse. It definitely goes along with the "love" theme. But, not what it says.
Will came home from work about an hour later and she showed her "craft" to Daddy. I told her to tell Daddy what it said, fully expecting her to say "God is love."
Surprise! She actually said "Love one another." I was floored. So ... obviously she can't read yet, but she has memorized 2 scriptures from the Bible.
