Preschool Corner: L is for Ladybugs

Welcome to our letter L week ... all about Ladybugs (and Llamas). 

{David is 3 years, 11 months old}

Our ladybug printables came from Confessions of a Homeschooler's LOTW curriculum.  Many of our other printables came from Homeschool Creations and 1plus1plus1equals1.

Ladybug graphing/counting with red beads.  I love using themed counters when I have them.

Our Letter L verse from RRSP: "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven."  Matthew 5:16.

Baby Luke is a big fan of the magnet page too.  And he looks so cute playing with it.

Ladybug coloring page.

Playdough Letter L.  I mean, he is rolling that playdough out with vigor!

Our Llama craft.  (Llama template here.)  He colored the template and I cut it out and glued it to a piece of construction paper.  Then we added the cotton ball fur.

Letter L Phonics page from RRS Kindergarten.  He does really well with his letter sounds and has had no problem with these Kindergarten level sheets.

And the math sheet (a graphing activity) from RRSK. 

We used stickers that I decorated as Ladybugs for our do-a-dot letter page this week.

Letter L poke page.  He could totally care less about this activity.  He purposely doesn't do it right and just acts silly poking all over the page.

And on a side note ... sweaty much?  He got so hot in this sweater!  He is all boy!

We love the Llama Llama books and I just found out there is a series of board books available for pre-order on Amazon.  I can't wait to get these for Luke!  He loves books most out of all of my children.
