David is now 11 months old. He is getting to be such a big boy. This past month, we have seen a lot of this ...
and this. He is INFATUATED with all things bathroom. If we accidentally leave the toilet lid up, he will most definitely be splashing in the water. If the lid is down, he will move on to unrolling the toilet paper.
He is still the happiest little morning person. I finally caught that sweet little smile when he woke up this morning.
He is very interested (always) in what big sister is doing. She is starting to get a little annoyed.
If it moves, its a walker. Nothing is immune ... even the garbage can.
Speaking of ... the garbage can is his #2 favorite INFATUATION. If it's full enough, he can open the lid and pull something out. NOTE: if it's food, he will eat it. YUCK! We tricked him for a little while by turning garbage can around to face the wall, but he has figured it out!
He is not quite walking yet, but he has taken a few steps here and there. He can stand on his own now. He will be walking before we know it and then he will never slow down!
Other things noteworthy from this month include:
-drinking real milk out of a sippy cup ... he still loves his breakfast and bedtime bottles of formula, but he is quite content drinking for a sippy cup at lunch and dinner.
-making new sounds ... specifically, nananana (almost like he is asking for a banana).
-he also signs "more" now ... at least I think that is what he is doing. It is really more like clapping, but he does it when I get out the veggie straws, which is his most favorite food ever!

Are those M&M Peanuts that Claire is digging through in the basket? Yeah, I would be interested in what she's doing, too.
