Menu Plan Monday: August 17-23

Review from last week: You must try the Chicken Puffs. Very good for kid-friendly meal or a dinner for guests. The enchilada pie was good too. Easily serves 6 people and a good freezer option (to save for later).

Here are my sale/coupon results for this week:

Total groceries: $130.16

Total savings: $36.60

Total out-of-pocket: $101.28 (saved 28%)

This week's menu:

Monday: Leftover BBQ ribs, macaroni & cheese and tomato coleslaw

Tuesday: White fish w/lemon tarragon shells (from the freezer), salad

Wednesday: leftovers

Thursday (pm): Rosemary Pork Chops, squash & zucchini mix, pasta side

Friday: Beef Steaks w/mushroom gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables

Saturday (am): Breakfast pizza, home fries

Saturday (pm): Dinner & a movie (aka date night with my hubby)

Sunday (lunch): Leftover buffet

Sunday (pm): Birthday party for a friend's daughter ... we will eat there or grab something quick on the way home.

Check out other menu plans here.
