Nothing exciting to report in the food department this week. We're all a little burned out on soup (but we are still eating it). We did eat some yummy chicken enchilada soup during the football game on Saturday.
I also learned this week that (1) my son could live off of Chicken Pot Pie (my daughter eats the peas and "pie" part only) and (2) my daughter could eat a grilled cheese sandwich for every meal.
As far as the menu plan this week, its a weird week for us because Will has several work events at night this week and we are traveling some too.
Monday: Chicken Soup, Buttermilk Wheat Bread (in the bread machine ... I am bringing this appliance out storage for the first time since like 2001 ... I hope it still works!!)
Tuesday: Leftover chicken enchilada soup
Wednesday: Cheez-It Chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus
Thursday: Pizza, salad
Friday: Work dinner (spouses included)
Saturday: Game day food (TBD)
Sunday: Leftovers
Check out other menu plans here.
