Preschool Corner: XYZ ... the End.

We have finally reached the end of the alphabet!  Hooray!  We kind of did the bare minimum on these last three letters and I hardly took any pictures.

{David is 4 years, 0 months old}

Letter X

We did a couple of cute X crafts ... an X xylophone.

And x-ray hands with chalk and q-tips.

Our letter X board.
Our X Bible verse from RRSP was "Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."  Matthew 18:3.

Letter X books:
Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss
Xavier and the Letter X (Alphabet Friends)

Letter Y

Yikes!  The letter Y pictures are really sparse!  This is the only one I took ... our letter Y board.

We did work on our RRSP Bible verse: "You are my friends if you do whatever I command you."  John 15:14.

We also read some fun letter Y books:

Yesterday and the Letter Y (Alphabet Friends) by Cynthia Klingel and Robert B. Noyed
You and Me, Little Bear by Martin Waddell
Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss
Henry and Pawl and the Round Yellow Ball by Tom Casmer and Mary GrandPre'
The Yellow House by Blake Morrison

Letter Z

Our Letter Z board.

I thought the zig zag Z and zebra Z were really cute.  I love it when my old now seemingly useless scrapbook supplies come in handy for a preschool project.

We also managed a trip to Zoo to see the Zebras (you can faintly see them behind Claire and David).

A better picture of the zebras.

We worked on our RRSP Bible verse: "Zaccheaus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house."  Luke 19:5.  By the way, Zaccheaus was my Dad's favorite bible story when I was a kid.  He tried to tell it to me every night with "Once upon a time there was a man named Zaccheaus" before he was rudely interrupted by a "Daddy, not that one again!"

We also read some fun Z books:

Zebras by Melissa Stewart
When LuLu Went to the Zoo by Andy Ellis
Color Zoo by Lois Ehlert
1 Zany Zoo by Lori Degman
On Beyond Zebra by Dr. Seuss
Zebra's Hiccups by David McKee

A distinction between stuck and dead pixels distinguishes dead pixels. LCD displays of all sizes, including mobile phones and monitors, can have dead pixels. When a pixel becomes stuck, it is usually red, green, blue, or yellow. If you are interested to know how to fix stuck pixel on Sony TV then read this article.
